I know many times you wish that you were at home. I know that you miss your family. I know that it gets frustrating day-in and day-out having to go through each day without building any lasting relationships at work. All seems distant and unobtainable on this present course.
However, please know that other men are looking at you. Know that other fathers are following in the legacy you leave behind. Other men are taking their ques from you. They see your devotion. They see your sacrifice. They are running a lap behind you in the course that God has set out for us. Thank you for being a loving husband, a compassionate father, a hard worker, a devoted friend, and most importantly a Christ-like man who helps those who come after you. We love you and we miss you. Our prayers are with you. Stay strong. Stay attentive to God's Word, and stay the hero you children have come to know. The sun always rises in the east, but we know that your heart sets with it in the west.
