The Initial Stages of Making a Home

The 2 recruits, eager to load-up the truck on Friday morning!

We had a 24 foot truck that was 12 1/2 feet tall! ...and everything JUST fit!

And then it hailed on Saturday. The Elantra looks like a golfball!

Thankfully, I keep a fire-extinguisher and First-aid kit in the garage. (Too bad it doesn't work for cars.)

LET'S START THE TOUR!

(Sorry for the poor quality of the photos--they are from my Blackberry, and it doesn't do well in the dark!)

The Garage:

The Living Room / AKA "The Studio":
Pan to the left (the piano will go where the chair is.):
Do a 180 and you'll see the dinning room (loosely spoken) to the right and the kitchen on the left:
Dining Room (table-less... for now):Kitchen and door to the garage:Our fridge with ample counter space for Shinae's baking needs:
Our Big-ole Walk-in Pantry(!):
Let's go upstairs, shall we?
But first, a stop to the little boys room
Ahh... that was relaxing. Now up, up, up we go!
The Stairs.. with a neat light fixture that will be horrible to replace light-bulbs in:Wide hallway leading to the loft and the bedrooms:
The first door on your right, the office:
Second door on your right, the master bathroom:
And then the third door on your right, the master bedroom:

At last, the loft. This is where I will be spending most of my time while Shinae teaches piano downstairs. Isn't it relaxing:
Well, Folks... That concludes our tour. Thanks for coming along with me!
